Your ScubaDoRags are well worth the money

March 9, 2008
I recently returned from the Bahamas where I went diving for the first time.
What an amazing experience!
At the suggestion of a friend, I had purchased a few ScubaDoRags for the
trip.
I wore one while snorkeling (saw a HUGE Barracuda) and it prevented any
burning to my head (the hair is starting to get a little thinner these
days).
When we went on my first dive, it was a good thing I had my seabra rag on!
Towards the end of the dive, my instructor, who knew I wanted a picture with
my buddy, asked if I knew what he looked like. When I looked around at all
the people in the water, everyone looked the same and I couldn’t spot him.
Thanks to my scubadorag, my buddy had already spotted me in the crowd, swam
down to us and we got the shot.
Your ScubaDoRags are well worth the money and I will be getting more of your
products as I go for my open water certification! I just wish someone here
in Nashville carried them!

“Do Rag Duet at Captain Kidd’s”

March 1, 2008
You might have heard of the recent discovery of one of Captain Kidd’s
shipwreck the Quedagh Merchant here in the Dominican Republic. We had the opportunity
to dive there (not open to the public) and I have this picture to share with you.
My husband, is the one on the left (I got his socks for Christmas to match his do rag)
and our good friend Dan Gowen on the right. I am calling the picture “Do Rag Duet
at Captain Kidd’s”

This is my second order this month.

November 29,2007
This is my second order this month. The first arrived
within 5 business days without issue. I was so pleased
with my hoods on my first order. Used them on a dive
trip last week. That is why I am ordering more with
the socks to match.

Thank you, Pickering, Ontario, Canada

We have a charitable foundation called Dive Pirates that brings wounded Iraqi
vets and other disabled divers to the Caymans for a week getaway once a year.
What could be better than a crew of pirates with Do Rags to wear on the boat,
at the resort and underwater? Scuba Do Rags adds to the sense of belonging
that all disabled crave after recovering from their injuries or disease.

From that moment on, she was fine and had no problems with her mask strap or tangling hair.

August, 17, 2007
I don’t know if you will remember me, but 5 years ago I read about
your product in one of the scuba magazines and contacted you right away
about getting some scuba good hoods for myself, and as gifts for my
family. The next year I met you in person at the Dive Expo in Chicago,
and ended up purchasing several more of your hoods. It’s been 4 years
now and I have finally exhausted my supply of hoods, except for my original
one. Somehow I keep “loaning” them out to other people and they
never come home again, so today I ordered a new one in your Sharky pattern,
and I can’t wait to get it.
My real reason for emailing is to let you know that I am a dive instructor,
and one of the problems I run into with every class is someone with long hair
that keeps getting tangled in their mask strap. That exact problem turned up
last night in an open water pool session. My student was continually struggling
with her mask strap. I remembered I had my only remaining scuba good hood in
the car so sent my divemaster to find it. He did, and I “loaned”
it to my student. From that moment on, she was fine and had no problems with
her mask strap or tangling hair. I am sending her the link for your website,
and I’m sure she will be purchasing her own scuba good hoods. The one
I loaned her is safely back in its home with me, but I wanted to make sure I
always had a spare hood with me for class.
I teach at Mermet Springs, in Southern Illinois, so we often have
“limited visibility.” We also are open to many shops that conduct
training dives, so on a busy weekend there can be a lot of instructors in the
water. I always wear my Scuba GoodHood when I am doing check out dives because
my students can easily identify me underwater.
I can’t say enough about how fun and functional your products are.
I hope you continue to come up with new patterns and maybe can revive some of
your old ones. My very first hood (which I will always keep) was a pattern of
little fish. I can’t remember what the name was, but I still love it.

I have been diving since 1962 and it never occurred to me how valuable this hat could be!

August, 15, 2007
In March of 2007, my wife and I were helping the Houston Underwater
Photographic Society set up the photo gallery at Sea Space in
Houston, Texas when we met Susan Martin who was setting up her
display of colorful do rags, socks and other colorful items.
We bought several sets of do rags with matching dive socks
“just for fun.”

We dove Little Cayman and Aruba this summer and I would put on my
day-glow orange and and yellow do rag and razz the other divers
telling them that before the week was over, they were going to
be chasing me around the boat to get my do rag. (My wife loved
me wearing it because it made it easy for her to identify me under water.)

While we were in Aruba, the visibility was very limited. While on a deep
dive at Three Fingers, I found three banded coral shrimp and my wife and
I stopped to take a few pictures. The rest of the small dive party was
a little ahead of us, but in sight. After a couple of shots, I looked
up and they were nowhere to be seen. As it turned out, they got caught
in a rogue current and were well on their way “somewhere.”
Before long, we were caught in it too and also headed for “somewhere”...
we still had no idea where the divers were. She and I stayed together,
but traveled some distance before finishing our safety stop and breaking
the surface. We could see the now very tiny boat in the distance and were
preparing to inflate our safety sausage when we noticed the boat heading
in our direction. Once on board, the boat captain said he thought we were
a couple of spear fisherman until he spotted the bright do rag! As it turns
out, my “just for fun” do rag became a serious safety tool to
assist in getting us picked up quickly, and everyone returned to the boat
safely. I have been diving since 1962 and it never occurred to me how
valuable this hat could be!

she wore playing tennis this afternoon to the complete distraction of her opponents

March 3, 2007
we enjoyed the dive expo and seeing old friends and making new ones.
Lynn even bought a ScubaDoRag shirt which she wore playing tennis this
afternoon to the complete distraction of her opponents. They joked that the
other team got seasick just looking at Lynn’s wild top.

My last one is now the pride and joy of a local boat man in Sipadan, East Malaysia

Jun 9, 2003
Dear Susan,
Once again I need a new Rag My last one is now the pride and joy of
a local boat man in Sipadan, East Malaysia. I gave it to him at
the end of a recent trip, and to say he was pretty “made-
up” is an understatement. I have filled out the form as per
your instruction, but should you need to add any extra postage for
Malaysia, feel free to do so. I love the new colours and styles,
but still no Pirates Skull and Crossbones or Acid house Smile Face
:) Hope you get one sorted some day. Until then I will carry on
wearing my rag with pride.
In truth and style, kind regards,

Craig

Jun 9, 2003
Hi Sue,
Man am I enjoying my ScubaDoRags. I have had lots of positive comments
and as I promised I will be taking them to the spinning conference here
in Chicago. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your doing this for
me. Let me know which ones I do not have and I will add them to my
collection.
Also, let me know if you have others that do not appear on the website.

This thing is awesome! I love it! Worth the $!

Jun 22, 2003
Thanks for sending the pics so quickly! I wore the head rag pretty much all
night after I left the show. Several people who saw it commented on it. I
let ’em “read my head tag” (the label on the side) so you
may be hearing from people soon! This thing is awesome! I love it! Worth the
$!
Thanks again.

the socks were a hit

Aug 1, 2004
Susan aka CoCo Cheznaynay (I love the name)
I’m one of the girls you gave the socks to to try. I kept looking for you
but didn’t see you Saturday night and I didn’t make it back there
Sunday (I was exhausted). Anyway, the socks were a hit. I enjoyed wearing them.
They were cool and I really liked not feeling the seams, that surprised me. Most
importantly, everyone loved them. I got tons of comments about my great socks
while I was riding. It was fun. Personally, they were a hit. I found them to
be very comfortable while riding and very stylish.
Good luck.

My ScubaDoRag is getting a little faded now but over 300 dives later it is still going strong.

Dec 3, 2004
Hi Susan
My ScubaDoRag is getting a little faded now but over 300 dives later it is still
going strong. I am still hoping that at some stage you will do a British Union
Jack version. I get a lot of British divers asking me about this!
Hope you like the attached images, and yes the sharks were big and up close
and personnel!
Kind Regards,

Count me as a very satisfied customer.

Aug 28, 2005
Hey Susan.
I had my open water certification dives this weekend. Sat I did not wear my
ScubaDoRag and got more sun on my bald head than I should have. Sun I made
sure that I wore it for both dives. It was great. It was very comfortable
and did not get in the way of my mask. Count me as a very satisfied
customer.
Thanks again for being a sponsor for my website.

Oct 29, 2006
Just thought we would drop you a note and let you know we received our shoodn’t shipment.
We are very pleased with all, especially the color design we did with mine(Burt). I thought
I would send you a picture and show that they are perfect for diving, biking, exercise, and
Halloween Costumes (see picture).
It was really nice to see you at the dive show in Durham, NC. You have a great product.
Keep up the good work.
